JOB DETAILS             
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for monitoring the machines and operation in order to discover and prevent potential problems, ensuring the optimal operation of production machinery, all maintenance and repairs of the machines and troubleshooting all issues on machines. The holder of this role will report directly to Production Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be working in a production area and your duties will be as followed:
•Ensuring the optimal operation of production machinery
•Locating and repairing the source of problems with production machine by observing the equipment in operation, using troubleshooting skills and testing equipment
•Diagnosing the problems and determining how to correctly repair issues as necessary
•Ensuring inspection and maintenance tasks are being completed in a timely manner and in compliance with the planned maintenance schedule
•Providing emergency or unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production time
•Reducing downtime by informing/training machine operators of best practices for maintenance and operational techniques to use when operating equipment
•Reporting all work activities and faults to Production Manager
•Completing all relevant paperwork in a timely manner
•Assisting in test and commissioning of new machines
•Making suggestions to improve quality, safety, or production

Skills Required:
As a Maintenance Engineer you will have the following skills and experience:
•Previous Maintenance Engineer experience is essential, 3+ years of experience in paper or tissue converting
•Experience operating tissue paper converting machinery
•Advanced knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatic components
•Positive attitude and teamwork
