We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage the company’s supply of products and services.
He/She must be able to join our successful and growing UK team and will engage for the procurement management in logistics industry across UK.
Responsibilities:
1. Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
2. Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
3. Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
4. Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
5. Examine and test existing contracts.
6. Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
7. Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
8. Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Skills & Requirements:
1. Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement.
2. Talent in negotiations and networking.
3. Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software.
4. Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
5. Strong leadership capabilities.
6. BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
