Our Finance Assistant role is an exciting opportunity to join our Accounts team, developing your accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills in a friendly team environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong pro-active skills, thrive in a fast-paced setting and feel confident communicating with colleagues across the organisation

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Hold a strong understanding of Purchase Ledger functionality in our accounting system Navision
•Analyse, code with accuracy and obtain appropriate sign off on invoices for both purchases and overheads
•Record invoices onto our Navision accounting system across multiple vendors and currencies
•Contact suppliers for statements and missing invoices.
•Liaise with other departments to ensure sign off does not delay processing of invoices
•Allocation of overheads to relevant cost centres
•Help our Finance Team with nominal postings as required

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•Either a university degree or recognised qualification in bookkeeping/accounting
•Good verbal and written communication
•Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail
•A desire to work as part of a team and to help it achieve its goals
•The ability to evaluate, prioritise and balance your own workload
•Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel
