JOB DETAILS             
We are looking for Assistant Accountant who will be responsible for assisting with all regulatory reporting required. You will spend your time assisting the accountants in all aspects relating to preparation of the regulatory returns.

Responsibilities / Duties
•Preparing and posting statutory ledger adjustments and journals
•Supporting the production of company’s regulatory returns in line with the filing deadlines
•Work with detailed and complex spreadsheets to analyze and review financial results
•Ensuring that key controls and reconciliations are effectively maintained in support of certain regulatory filings
•Production and distribution of information requested by external auditors in a timely manner
•Preparation of ad-hoc reports and assisting with finance projects and initiatives.

Essential Requirements:
•Knowledge of insurance would be advantageous but not essential
•Willing to work towards a professional accounting qualification
•Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and changing priorities
•Good team player with flexibility to adapt and grow as responsibilities increase
•Good communication and interpersonal skills
•Computer literate particularly in Excel.
