Responsibilities
- Analyze USAFE functional communities’ need to share information and collaborate both within and outside of USAFE’s theater of operations using existing capabilities and identifying new technologies. Ascertain which organizations use these capabilities and identify how various capabilities interact. Develop draft plans and policies to support the execution of strategic plans. Develop documentation in support of the European Infrastructure Consolidation (EIC) and F-35 program, projects, and initiatives.
- Perform project management tasks to support implementation and sustainment of EIC & F-35 related technologies and strategic plans to include authoring documentation. Develop implementation plans and after approval lead such projects from inception through the completion and sustainment.
- Exhibit extensive telecommunication background and experience in developing a future EIC & F35 outlook and associated Concept of Operations (CONOPS). Provide proposed EIC & F-35 solutions to decision makers with the objective of determining a clear vision for the future of the 48th Fighter Wing EIC & F-35 concept and provide advice on the path to take in order to transform this vision into reality.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in an Information Technology or related field
- Solid understanding of Project Management methodologies
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification • Proficient using MS Office Professional and MS Project
- Understanding of telecommunication architectures, system connectivity and interoperability standards and current technologies
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate (written and verbal) with senior leadership
- US Citizen
- Secret Clearance
