Retail Accountant

Responsibilities

• Management of a small team.
• Production of accurate monthly accounts and relevant commercial commentary.
• Production of statutory accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ad-hoc analysis and projects
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Work with the wider finance team to promote continuous improvement and make suggestions for process development.

Requirement

• A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven commercial management accounting experience.
• Proven financial accounting experience ideally including audit.
• A proactive and team focused approach.
• Ability to communicate and influence at a senior level.
• Ideally experience within this or a similar sector.
