Responsibility

  • Act as back up the Quality and Training Manager and Integrated Safety Services Manager in their absence.
  • Actively build relations with clients, lead and input on client calls.
  • Ensures all case management activities comply with regulatory requirements, corporate and departmental procedures and applicable Pharmacovigilance (PV) agreements.
  • Serves as the expert on all aspects of case management activities and makes decisions in accordance with PV regulations, guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Identifies methods to improve efficiency, accuracy and compliance of case management.
  • Participates in the development and operational implementation, of case management governing documents such as SOPs, work instructions, and Pharmacovigilance Agreements.
  • Leads oversight of case management vendor including training, evaluation of quality and issue management.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of strategic direction for the case management team including identifying resource needs and allocation.
  • Provides appropriate representation during regulatory inspections, internal audits and partner audits.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally as well as internally to Provide expert solutions to clients and commercial teams based on best practices and company procedures.
  • Accountable for recruiting, mentoring, and coaching of direct reports by providing leadership and an environment that encourages ongoing professional development.
  • On an ad-hoc basis to attend customer service reviews and provide the necessary pharmacovigilance updates.
  • Resolve queries from internal external customers and regulators relating to Pharmacovigilance.
  • Adhere to all Lloyds Pharmacy Clinical Homecare policies and process.
  • Work to the company's quality standards and performance criteria.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Carry out other duties that may be required from time to time.
Requirements
  • A degree in a science subject, HCP or 1 year equivalent practical experience.
  • Administrative experience essential.
  • Extensive Pharmacovigilance experience highly desirable.
  • Experience of working within a process driven role or methodological environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Have an appreciation of the importance of robust procedures for the benefit of patient safety and business reputation.
  • An appreciation of data protection and handling confidential information.
