Responsibilities

To ensure colors match vehicle being painted
To ensure color is mixed and matched in line with business time restraints
To maintain the paint mixing room and plant, reporting any defects
To ensure minimal waste in paint and sundry items
To co-ordinate paint supply with parts department and external distributors
Relay any finding to paint manufacturing/distribution company
To ensure the hazardous waste is removed and stored in line with SEPA requirements
To ensure waste is minimized by washing crushing contaminated containers
To ensure spray outs card are accurate before painting commences
To manage and maintain the paint mixing scales and stock
To liaise with all paint companies to ensure up-to-date product information is sourced
To comply with all company rules and regulations
To be responsible for the safety of oneself and others in the workplace
Assistance with any other task as required
