Responsibilities
- On time' despatch of manufactured parts, services and assemblies in accordance with internal policies and procedures
- Contributing in daily communications with Planning and Procurement to discuss any stock and/or planning issues to ensure on time deliveries
- Developing and implementing production procedures and policies
- Supporting the production operatives in achieving the daily production plan and communicating any delays to the relevant departments
- Delegating manufacturing tasks so that the team can meet production deadlines
- Establishing priorities to ensure the manufacturing team works most efficiently
Requirements
- HNC / HND / Degree level education or equivalent experience
- Manufacturing / Production industry experience
- Managerial and leadership experience
- A broad knowledge and experience of production planning processes
- Proven ability to work within agreed budgets and timescales
