Responsibilities
- Control and closely monitor plant and equipment to support the process by following procedures
- Apply conservative decision making techniques and work effectively within a team environment
- Have a solid understanding of plant operation, design and theory (comprehensive training will be provided)
- Investigate and rectify plant faults within your own area of demonstrated competence
- Carry out minor maintenance
- Carry out health physics monitoring as required by the process (training will be provided)
- Provide emergency scheme support
- Use in-house IT software to support operational activities and the work management process
- Excellent team working and team building skills,
- Relevant technical knowledge,
- Sufficient numeracy and literacy standards to report accurately on work carried out,
- Willingness to work flexibly within your own range of competencies,
- Excellent computer skills
