Responsibilities

  • Providing support on various banking projects including risk, regulation and commercial
  • Reviewing and reporting on contracts and other information as part of corporate due diligence exercises 
  • Checking legal documentation for quality, consistency and content
  • Completing forms, pro forma documents, company searches and indexing/sending documentation to data rooms/storage
  • Case and documentation review - analysing legal and other documents to identify key facts, anomalies etc, for categorization
  • Assisting with post completion tasks on legal projects 
  • Conducting legal and commercial market research
Requirements
  • Minimum 2.2 degree in a legal subject (candidates with relevant experience and/or qualifications, may also be considered)
  • Self-starter and motivated to succeed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to apply a logical and analytical approach to work 
  • Aptitude for learning new systems and IT applications 
  • Experience in a legal/corporate environment
