Responsibilities
- Providing support on various banking projects including risk, regulation and commercial
- Reviewing and reporting on contracts and other information as part of corporate due diligence exercises
- Checking legal documentation for quality, consistency and content
- Completing forms, pro forma documents, company searches and indexing/sending documentation to data rooms/storage
- Case and documentation review - analysing legal and other documents to identify key facts, anomalies etc, for categorization
- Assisting with post completion tasks on legal projects
- Conducting legal and commercial market research
- Minimum 2.2 degree in a legal subject (candidates with relevant experience and/or qualifications, may also be considered)
- Self-starter and motivated to succeed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to apply a logical and analytical approach to work
- Aptitude for learning new systems and IT applications
- Experience in a legal/corporate environment
