Responsibilities

  • Support and help maintain the tariff classification and key component detail of all products produced, including samples and bulk production
  • Liaise with Product Management and Pre-Production Teams to ensure all product data is accurate
  • Be present at handover to ensure all SKU detail is captured in a timely manner
  • Ensure product is transferred and shipped internally/externally as per best practice at all times
  • Understand transport supply base and able to coordinate and plan shipments under tight deadlines
  • Be able to advise on shipping routes and costings based on import/export compliance knowledge
  • Performing a meticulous review of all aspects of the declaration and recording your findings in a structured way
  • Analysing those findings and building a compliance dashboard
  • Identifying the root cause of errors and determining the action required to avoid future mistakes
  • Implementing the correction of declarations and procedures and monitoring the completion and impact of changes
  • Adhere to and promote best practice in terms of stock transactions and movement of goods globally and be able to give clear instruction on most efficient methods for shipping
  • Understand compliance requirements such as customs duties and regulations
