Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day management of the Global Editorial and Video Content team
  • Manage an editorial schedule for editorial content, and manage the video and photography schedule
  • Deliver data to assist strategy including, but not limited to: job count, word count, half & same day request count, YOY increase, annual savings etc.
  • Assist the Head of Global Editorial and Video Content, Senior Global Editor and Global Content Editor to research, transcribe, fact-check, annotate, write and edit press, marketing and other collateral for CB&C and the wider Swarovski business
  • Collaborate with all Swarovski departments to help develop clear and compelling communications messaging for each of their projects, both internal and external
  • Draft press releases for both Swarovski products and collaborations
  • Ensure a consistent brand message in all communications
  • Ensure the quality of all content is maintained to a high standard – liaising across the business to ensure the content/brand strategy is developed and sustained
  • Manage and maintain a film library to archive video projects, distributing the films to colleagues when requested and assisting with securing usage rights
  • Assist the video coordinator and external video editors with sourcing footage, drafting briefs for shoots, and assisting on shoots as required
  • Monitor national and international media and stories and maintain up-to-date media databases
  • Manage the metrics of interviews written for the Executive Board Member, maintaining a log of approved written interviews
  • Manage the CB&C internal news page, liaising with the Global Internal Communications team to create an editorial plan and uploading stories weekly
  • Assist with the Swarovski Group website, uploading, writing and editing stories as required
  • Support external consultants with contracts, individual orders, NDAs and invoices as required; liaising with Business Affairs, Legal and Finance
  • Assist in the coordination of high profile public relations events for the Executive Board Member
  • Assist in creating a weekly newsletter for the Executive Board Member
  • Assist in creating a weekly social media schedule for the Executive Board Member, sourcing relevant imagery, hashtags and handles; keeping a log of posts, likes, views and follower count
  • Support Corporate Communication teams with events and PR

Skill set and experience
  • Excellent written and spoken English - o ther languages advantageous but not required
  • Degree level education or equivalent – ideally in Humanities, Journalism or Public Relations
  • Proven writing and editing experience in journalism and/or communications role
  • Proficiency in IT skills and MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word
