Responsibilities
- To develop a “safety-first” approach within the cell, ensuring that the Operation is compliant with all relevant legislative requirements.
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement through the team to achieve productivity, operating cost, customer service & quality target levels.
- Contribute to new business initiatives and projects, review and communicate the impact on Lean activities.
- Undertake business process analysis, statistical analysis for improvement projects and to support wider change.
- Drive effective communication between operations, planning & commercial functions to meet customer demands within operational capacity.
Requirements
- Be able to demonstrate success gained in process and/ or Manufacturing industry; well-versed in lean manufacturing techniques.
- Have an excellent working knowledge of H&S leadership - Ideally NEBOSH trained but as a minimum IOSH trained.
- Have commercial & financial acumen.
