Responsibilities
- To ensure the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the Warehouse Dispatch Operation
- Manage a growing team of supervisors, permanent and temporary operational staff (50 plus) in a 24/7 shift environment.
- Resource planning and man management in a labour intensive environment. Seasonal activity leads to the labour force doubling, particularly during Christmas and January Sales.
- Introduce and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) in line with industry standards.
- Advise line manager on organisational performances, issues, measures, requirements and improvements.
- Analyses of statistics or other data for planning; and also to determine performance and service levels achieved.
- Compile reports analyzing the service levels achieved for feed back to line manager and other senior management.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent in GCSE
- Diploma of Higher Education
- Must be able to lift and move boxes of up to 20Kg
- Proven experience in sales and inventory analysis, ideally within merchandising or stock management. You will also be commercial minded, creative, numerate and PC literate.
