Responsibilities
- Aiding the implementation and maintenance of the supply chain processes by way of continuous improvement;
- Managing Relationship with external suppliers;
- Implement and monitor Inventory Management controls;
- New Product Development (NPD) support (outsourced purchased parts);
- Produce weekly/monthly status reports on KPIs;
- Track monthly commodity / currency market conditions;
- Construct RFI / RFQ packages to support resourcing activities with our Buyers;
- To work closely with Quality to ensure suppliers provide products and services as intended.
- To proactively participate in the resolution of Quality issues alongside Supplier Quality Engineers;
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, Engineering or similar;
- Prior internships/summer placements/work experience within a Supply Chain department is desirable, but not essential;
- You should be action oriented, have good business acumen, and be customer focused;
- Excellent time management and organisational skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
