Responsibilities

  • Aiding the implementation and maintenance of the supply chain processes by way of continuous improvement;
  • Managing Relationship with external suppliers;
  • Implement and monitor Inventory Management controls;
  • New Product Development (NPD) support (outsourced purchased parts);
  • Produce weekly/monthly status reports on KPIs;
  • Track monthly commodity / currency market conditions;
  • Construct RFI / RFQ packages to support resourcing activities with our Buyers;
  • To work closely with Quality to ensure suppliers provide products and services as intended.
  • To proactively participate in the resolution of Quality issues alongside Supplier Quality Engineers;
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, Engineering or similar;
  • Prior internships/summer placements/work experience within a Supply Chain department is desirable, but not essential;
  • You should be action oriented, have good business acumen, and be customer focused;
Skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
