Responsibilities

  • The inspection, cleaning and despatch of finished goods to customers
  • Collating the build paperwork for both customers and internal archive
  • Arranging export flights and collections, ensuring all the relevant export documentation is completed to accompany the package
  • Raising and verification of customer invoice data for accounts department through Syteline
  • Ensure safe storage of goods passing through the despatch department
  • Packing and despatching goods to sub-contactors, samples and documentation
  • Maintenance of stock levels for all packing and inspection materials
  • The booking in of all goods for the units through MRP (XA)
  • Confirmation and authorisation of all shipment invoices
Requirements
  • Experience of leading/managing a team in a Stores/Logistics environment
  • Experience of using MRP systems within a stores function
  • Experience of liaising with 3rd party carriers/frieght forwarders etc
  • Knowledge of documentation required for import/export of goods
  • Experience of managing stock flow requirements within a stores function
