Responsibilities
- Client Relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all key account contacts, demonstrate a thorough understanding of the client business and corporate objectives, and influence client thinking in a way that mutually benefits the client and CWT Meetings & Events to encourage account growth
- Key client contact for all projects, delivering a consultancy service offering expert knowledge of how best to meet client M&E objectives through live events
- Ensure client service satisfaction, and manage performance to agreed client service level agreements
- Upsell additional services to bookers where beneficial to deliver the end goals for the event
- Budget Management
- Creating, updating and reconciling budgets
- Manage payment schedules to invoice clients and pay supplier invoices
- Monitoring management fees against time management reports
- Meeting logistics
- Manage the assigned project team (e.g. Venue Sourcing Specialist and Project Executive(s)/Manager(s)), clearly communicating deadlines to ensure the event deliverables are on time and on budget, whilst ensuring client brand objectives and messaging have been achieved
- Oversee meeting logistics delivery, including: initial brainstorms, kick off meetings, venue sourcing, proposals, project plans, budgets, delegate management, running orders, project briefings, taking and distributing contact reports, as well as other event tasks required to deliver the project to an excellent standard
- Managing Health & Safety / Risk Management for the event
- Ensure contingency plans are created and in place to effectively manage crisis situations
- Strategic and commercial acumen with ability to manage complex programmes with large budgets and an ability to use business intelligence to drive innovation
- Planning and attending site visits
Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Significant meetings & events industry experience, preferably within an agency environment
- Pharmaceutical events management experience with strong understanding of APBI guidelines and EFPIA
- Able to build and maintain strong, profitable client relationships
- Strong experience of problem solving
- Ability to motivate and lead project teams
- Experience working in full service event management teams
- Budget Management experience
