Responsibilities
- Ensure that process plant performance is safely maintained at optimum levels through key performance indicators to protect personnel and plant
- Identify areas for improvement to process plant performance by undertaking suitable trials and studies, detailing necessary modifications and to initiate design studies to determine the most economic option for future technical change
- Support the safe operation of process plant through audit procedures, competency assessments and training initiatives
- Act as Offshore Project Manager for minor brownfield modifications.
- Manage, initiate, monitor and provide process input to process plant modification with particular emphasis on Waste Management, Environmental emissions, ISO 140001 performance and provide process input to IPPC and OPPC permit compliance
- Develop and manage reporting systems to quantify business targets on production to nomination, process trips, plant efficiencies and plant availability
- Assist with review of ECAPS/job responsible engineer produced work-packs for validity, content, and operability to ensure quality standards are maintained
- To undertake expert analysis of process operations to recommend, develop and implement improvements in systems and practices that provide for improved availability and reliability of cost-effective gas processing
- Take a role in development of integrated data reporting systems to enable more efficient linking of Gas Control System data to other reporting systems e.g. emissions, environmental reports.

- It is an expectation of the business that the job holder maintains and continues to develop the competencies necessary to carry out the role to the required standard whilst in position.
- Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, preferably Chartered status.
- Demonstrable experience of operations within a complex Oil/Gas, Petrochemical, or Chemical plant.
- Knowledge of process simulation modelling.
- Knowledge of legislation pertaining to the safe operation of Offshore and onshore hydrocarbon processes.
