Responsibilities

  • provide support for the ongoing development and maintenance of the School’s digital teaching resources, including Brightspace, Turnitin and Lecture Capture.
  • provide front line support and guidance in handling enquiries from staff and students.
  • provide technical demonstrations/workshops to staff and students.
  • maintain and develop web-based content and associated materials.
Requirements
  • Recent experience of delivering technology support in a customer focused environment, ideally in relation to teaching and learning.
  • Experience of working with or using a virtual learning environment or technologies that support digital learning.
  • Knowledge of website maintenance and development.
  • Proven organisational skills, able to manage several projects at once, overcoming challenges and delivering confidently to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly and approachable personality.
  • A degree or equivalent training/work-based experience and good standards of literacy and numeracy.
