Responsibilities
- Chemical Project Engineer Requirements Participation / leading of Chemical process safety projects and improvements.
- Update and reporting of key legislative data to support site operation.
- Key part of the engineering team supporting the safe operation of the site, including the use of industry standard risk assessment techniques.
- Liaising and working with local and National SME on CIP and best practice.
- Working with production operations / other departments to ensure site Process safety.
- Maintaining and reporting timeline to the team/management.
- Degree level qualification in Chemical Engineering or closely related field of study.
- Proven project chemical engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environment.
- Project management experience within multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience including design and specification of industrial chemical processes
- CAD experience including P&ID creation
- Demonstrable ability to lead and control capital projects
- Experience of industry standard risk assessment techniques such as HAZOP, LOPA.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
