Responsibility 
 
•Manage, develop and drive a high performing team of effective change control engineers and coordinators
•Develop and maintain necessary skills within the product change management team
•Manage the PCM headcount and operational budgets (define, forecast, assess, monitor)
•Embed an effective method of assessing the change control processes to maintain effectiveness and ensure continuous improvement
•Provide effective communication with all stakeholder departments in the change control process for planning and coordinating activities required to ensure smooth implementation of change
•Develop effective process and business KPI’s that demonstrate status, drive action from all stakeholders in the process and ensures transparency and objectivity
•Ensure engineering changes are implemented to the product in a consistent way and in line with the PCM processes and QMS
•Through you / your team, ensure product data analysis has been conducted and the timely resolution of any inconsistencies
•Ensure product change management data integrity and accuracy in SAP system
•Support the internal auditing function as an internal auditor

Knowledge, skills & experience
 
•Automotive industry experience is essential
•Proficient in Continuous Improvement approaches
•Understanding of the Total Quality Management methodology and principles
•Previous change management experience is essential
•Ability to manage aspects of complex operations/processes and people
•Confidence to act under pressure with calmness, clarity of thought and decisive authority
•Highly competent in analysing and interpreting product related data
•Business systems analytics experience is beneficial
•Qualified to degree level
