Principal accountabilities
- Develop the Bespoke Commissions business strategy, including cycle plan, delivering a range of profitable, self-supporting products which amplify the McLaren brand and reinforce MSO’s positioning as the industry benchmark
- Using your network, proactively source prospective clients, convert and manage ongoing liaison to deliver private commissions from concept to hand over and beyond
- Help define and implement the Bespoke Commissions customer journey, ensuring all touch points deliver a best in class customer experience and drive loyalty
- Support development of the Bespoke Commissions marketing strategy including external stakeholder engagement and management, securing partners with strong UHNW customer portfolios and / or delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Translate customer requirements into programme attributes and viable customer specifications
- Identify opportunities and proactively pursue appropriate actions to optimise these, whilst addressing potential threats
- Manage complex stakeholder groups across sales and marketing, design, engineering and programme delivery, up to and including executive level
- Use learnings to develop programme synthetics for major and minor commissions
Knowledge, skills & experience
- Extensive experience of successfully handling UHNW clients and exceeding ambitious sales targets and growing a loyal customer base
- Ability to deliver engaging and rewarding customer interactions, further enhancing our clients’ relationships with the brand
- Confident and articulate communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Culturally aware, able to adapt approach and willing to meet the needs of McLaren’s most exacting clients
- Willing to consistently work across multiple times zones and available to travel at short notice
- Fluent in spoken and written English, proficiency in other language(s) desirable
- Ability to liaise confidently with and manage UHNW clients
- Well organised and delivery focused – with demonstrable track record of on-time delivery in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent communicator with the ability to lead, motivate and influence cross functional teams to deliver objectives
