Role responsibilities 

  • To manage the activities of BMW Sales staff and Sales Support to achieve vehicle sales, profit targets, plans and budgets
  • To identify and improve customer service levels delivered by the team
  • To have thorough knowledge of the complete product range including new technologies, and have knowledge of our competitors
  • To agree commission plans for sales staff and ensure achievement of sales targets
  • To provide guidance and training to the team on prospecting, sales presentation and closing to increase confidence and performance
  • To supervise and motivate staff, engendering a team spirit
  • To agree part exchange valuations with the sales team to complete satisfactory negotiations with potential customers to maximise sales
  • To ensure that stock prices are correct and ready for sale and that the stock profile is turned at the agreed rate
  • To ensure that the completion of all sales and financial paperwork is completed accurately
  • To ensure all staff fully comply to FCA guidelines on the selling of financial services products

Skills & Experience
  • Have at least three years’ proven experience of leading and developing a high-functioning team of 8 or more members
  • Have proven leadership, managerial and people development skills
  • Will have the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy working environment
  • Will be FCA accredited and have knowledge of SA3 / IVS
  • Will be qualified to A-Levels or equivalent
  • Will have excellent IT skills
  • You will have a valid clean UK Driving Licence
